FXU provides free set, lighting design resources

ORLANDO, Fla. — FX Group has launched FXU, an online resource guide to set design, lighting design and HD broadcasting.

FX, a leading scenic design firm, created FXU, located at www.fxgroup.tv/fxu, to educate television industry professionals about the complex fields of set and lighting design.

The insightful content includes information about set design for HD and the invaluable "Top 10 Things to Know Before Going HD" guide. In addition, an extensive glossary of set design terminology covers related terms from A to Z.

FXU also includes helpful advice for schools and other non-profit video producers that includes practical tips for low-cost and do-it-yourself set design options.
