Golf Channel, an Orlando-based cable channel, hired FX Group to remodel and expand its existing studio set into multiple presentation areas for several of its programs, including "The Approach."
Using gentle curves throughout the set, FX captured the gentle slopes of a golf course with clean, camera-friendly lines. The set also features bold, brand-centric graphics that feature homages to the game of golf — plus a functional practice area.
In addition to completely rebuilding most the set, FX refreshed the main anchor area and used vibrant theatrical lighting to create an eye-catching background.
The set is stocked with state-of-the-art technology, including a 15-foot-long rear projection media wall capable of displaying multiple, independent video and graphics feeds.
