"Working with the FX Group was a pleasure. We had very specific needs and ideas of what we wanted. FX took those needs and created our unique environment. The project management was first rate, their guidance was invaluable, and installation was on time and within budget. I could not ask for more." — Brent Hensley, President and General Manager, 2005
The set for KOCO-TV, the Hearst-Argyle-owned ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City is a study in modern sophistication. Sleek lines and rich, dramatic colors give the station a sharp, eye-catching look for its newscasts.
The home base is surrounded by an impressive control room duratran, framed by backlit columns and layered with branded frosted plexiglass. The anchor desk's lighted translucent mid-section adds to the set's modern appearance while cherry wood accents throughout the set subtly add warmth.
A standup area with a vertically-mounted flat panel monitor is situated to the right of the anchor desk, while the other side of the set is occupied by the weather center with a presentation pod at center, spanned by another continuous control room duratran and multiple workstations.
