KTVE-TV, the NBC affiliate in West Monroe, La., was selected for RTNDA's 2006 Ultimate Newscast Makeover. Working in conjunction with graphics company VDO, music company Stephen Arnold Music and the consultants at The Coaching Company, FX Group helped transform every aspect of KTVE-TV's newscast by designing and building a new broadcast envrionment.

The new set features multiple high-tech monitors, allows the station to display its new logo and gives it the flexibility to use the main set for the newscasts it produces for the local Fox affiliate. The old Fox set was replaced by a new weather center, stocked with more flat panel monitors the station uses to display weather data and graphics. In addition, practical workstations and a branded presentation pod were also added.
