When WFTV-TV began preparations to become Florida's first HD newscast, the station hired FX Group to develop a set ready for digital broadcasting.

We used our expertise in HD and 16:9 set design and fabrication to provide WFTV-TV with a set that looks great to both standard and high definition viewers. The set's rich woods, clean lines and professional lighting design ensure the set looks great in HD but doesn't overpower talent.

The main anchor area features a sweeping view of Orlando's skyline flanked by two rear projection screens. A nearby flexible standup set is used for the station's sports segments as well as a demonstration and phone bank area.
