WHIO-TV's set was designed to give the station an eye-catching, high-tech look that doesn't overwhelm viewers and appeal to its exisiting demographic.

The large monitor wall duratran behind the anchor desk gives the station's broadcasts a sense of urgency while the frosted plexiglass in front of it prevents the background from overpowering the anchors and providing depth.

The nearby working weather center provides forecasters with practical work stations and is accented by several monitors that are used to display the latest weather graphics and show viewers weather conditions. In addition, the standup area on the left side of the set serves a wide variety of purposes.
