The set FX Group designed for WSOC-TV features abundant station and cityscape graphic elements that help this ABC affiliate maintain a consistent, brand-centric look.

Designed with unique curved walls emblazoned with bold, colorful graphics, the set uses the station's newsroom as its primary background. Frosted plexiglass helps diffuse newsroom activity, while still allowing the prominent "Eyewitness News" and other branding elements in the newsroom to be visible.

The set's working weather center with curved work counter and standup presentation area are each equipped with an array of large-scale video displays to allow forecasters to cleary present and interact with weather graphics and radar scans. The area also gives forecasters quick access to forecasting computers, allowing them to quickly change forecasts on the fly, especially when the center becomes the hub of WSOC-TV's severe weather coverage.
