Shot-by-Shot Design
FX Group's unique shot-by-shot design approach focuses on how your set will look on camera during your broadcasts.
Often set designers place too much emphasis on how a set looks in wide, dramatic views. While these shots are impressive, they don't give a realistic sense of what your viewers see the majority of the time — since most shots used during a typical broadcast are tightly framed.
Shot-by-Shot Design is especially important when planning for HD and 16:9 production in a world that still predominently uses 4:3 monitors.
Once your set's design is complete, FX's exclusive Shot By Shot Planner allows your production and news staffers to create interactive storyboards using a simple drag-and-drop interface.
FX carefully plans each shot — starting with one-shots and then working out:

During the design process, FX will give you photorealistic renderings of each shot, allowing you and your production staff to see, shot by shot, how your set will look during your broadcast and give input into the process. |
